The difference is not the taste — it is the form of the nicotine itself and how your body absorbs it.
Salt nicotine (30ml bottles)
Here the nicotine is in a salt form, which speeds up absorption and softens the throat hit despite the higher strength. In other words, you can take more nicotine without the burn. Built for pod systems — small, high-resistance devices producing modest vapour.
60ml freebase at 3mg
The nicotine strength is low and the bottle is larger because consumption is higher. Built for sub-ohm and e-shisha devices that produce dense vapour — and the low strength is essential here, because that volume of vapour already delivers plenty of nicotine.

How to work out which one you need
Start with your device
This is the critical point. If you own a pod system you need salt nicotine; if you own a vape device you need a 60ml freebase. Getting it backwards gives a poor experience either way:
- Salt in a powerful device: far too much nicotine — dizziness, nausea and a burning throat.
- 3mg freebase in a pod system: no satisfaction at all, and you end up vaping all day for nothing.
Then consider your background
If you are coming off cigarettes and need quick satisfaction, salt is by far the better fit — faster absorption and a feel much closer to what you are used to.
If you do not smoke and are here for flavour and vapour, low-strength freebase makes more sense.

Where do VG and PG come in?
Every e-liquid is built mainly on two bases: VG, which produces the vapour and its density, and PG, which carries the flavour and delivers the throat hit.
- Higher VG = more vapour, suited to powerful sub-ohm devices.
- Higher PG = clearer flavour and a firmer hit, and it works better in small devices because it is thinner and wicks into the coil faster.

Mistakes that ruin your flavour
- Not letting the coil soak. After filling, wait ten minutes before the first puff. Rush it and you burn the coil straight away.
- Mixing two flavours in one pod. The result is a muddled taste. Clean or replace the pod when you change flavour.
- Leaving the bottle in the sun. Heat changes both the colour and the taste. Store it somewhere cool and dry.
- Vaping a nearly empty pod. This is the fastest way to burn a coil. Refill before it reaches the bottom.
- Running a coil past its life. The flavour fades gradually — that is a sign to replace it, not a sign the e-liquid is bad.
How long does a bottle last?
It depends on your habits and your device:
- A 30ml salt bottle in a pod system: usually two to three weeks of average daily use.
- A 60ml bottle in an e-shisha device: much faster — dense vapour gets through e-liquid quickly.
