Why an empty pod?
An empty pod holds the e-liquid only. The coil is bought separately and presses straight into the base. You keep the same pod for a long time and swap just the coil when the flavour starts to fade, which is cheaper and far more flexible than a sealed cartridge you throw away whole.

Which coils fit?
The pod takes the Caliburn G and G2 coil family, sold separately in three resistances:
0.8ohm UN2 Meshed-H (13-18W) for warmer vapour and a looser, restricted DTL draw.
1.0ohm (10-15W), the balanced middle ground for MTL.
1.2ohm UN2 Meshed-H for the tightest MTL draw, easiest on battery and e-liquid, and a good match for higher-strength salt nicotine.
Device compatibility
Fits the Uwell Caliburn G2, GK2 and GZ2. One point worth knowing: the G2 pod is not the same part as the Caliburn G pod. The coils are shared across both series, but the pod itself has to be the one made for your device.

Anyone running a G2 series device who wants a spare pod at home or in the car, or who prefers to keep one pod per flavour so tastes never mix.
